Working Pattern: Mon - Fri : Mornings 8am - 4pm & Lates 12.30pm - 8.00pm

The difference you will make as Receptionist
In this role you will assist in the provision of an efficient and courteous reception service, also you will ensure visitors are guided into the building, offered refreshments, made comfortable and feel welcomed. the receptionist will meet and greet residents, guests, visitors and contractors to the property and supported to navigate the building in a friendly and manner, Ideally in this role will communicate effectively and empathetically with residents, relatives and staff and respond knowledgeably and confidentially to enquiries from visitors, customers, staff and contractors
About You
We are looking for someone with:
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Excellent customer service skills both face to face and on the telephone
* Excellent telephone manner and switchboard experience
* Some experience in reception work(either paid or voluntary) preferably of dealing calmly and pleasantly with a diverse section of customers
* Excellent organisational skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Role Profile
Principle Outputs & Responsibilities
* Assist in the provision of an efficient and courteous reception service.
* Ensure visitors are guided into the building, offered refreshments, made comfortable and feel welcomed.
* Meet and greet residents, guests, visitors and contractors to the property and supported to navigate the building in a friendly and manner
* Communicate effectively and empathetically with residents, relatives and staff
* Respond knowledgeably and confidentially to enquiries from visitors, customers, staff and contractors
* Meet the demands of internal and external customers effectively and to a high standard
* Support the General Manager ensuring H & S compliance, and general admin duties such as staff meals
* Attend meetings and take minutes when required
* Maintain a detailed and accurate enquiries log of potential customers and their Next of kin,
* Keep a log of visitors to the building
* Maintain a detailed and accurate log of keys and fob
* Maintain and update stocks of literature and digital displays in reception and communal areas, ensuring that the areas are tidy and welcoming at all times
* Assist with the ordering and management uniforms, stationary and PPE as required
* Manage Guest suite bookings and ensuring the suite is cleaned and ready for occupation
* Engage with Housing, Facilities, and the care and support team to assist in the day to day management of customers, visitors and the buildijng
* Compliant with requirements of Health and safety, and ARCO
Essential Knowledge, Skills And Experience

Desirable Knowledge, Skills And Experience
* Knowledge of the Housing Sector and One Housing activities.
* Knowledge and understanding of Dementia
* Knowledge of CQC and Senior Living
Decision Making Accountability
* Day to day running of reception area
* Visitor logs
* Ensuring all marketing materials and information is ARCO compliant
* Ensuring staff office(s) and staff kitchens are well stocked and maintained
* Maintain staff records such as emergency contact details
* Ensuring property H & S records are well maintained and up to date (such as the ‘emergency grab pack)
Other Duties
* Ensure that responsibilities for Health and Safety are properly understood and discharged as defined in One Housing’s Health & Safety Policy and that Health & Safety concerns are promptly and clearly communicated to the appropriate people.
