Who we are…
Premier Living Group is an innovative property company providing high quality accommodation across Crewe, Nantwich and Sandbach on both a professional house share and single let basis. We aren't a lettings agent as we are only responsible for our own properties and, as such, we also aren't bound by corporate red tape or franchise convention – this gives us the flexibility to offer both our tenants and our employees something different.
Our ethos is to employ a dynamic and professional approach to managing our properties, whilst ensuring we uphold the values of dealing directly with a committed local landlord - efficiency, responsiveness and trustworthiness. We have a longstanding reputation with our tenants for dealing with any issues that arise quickly…and it is paramount that our new team member carries that forward.
We are also active property developers currently embarking on a regeneration project in central Crewe to convert an office building into 25 stylish apartments. Previous completed projects have included the conversion of an iconic period property in Nantwich to 14 high end apartments and an office conversion into 12 apartments in Sandbach, as well as numerous other commercial to residential conversions.
It is due to continued expansion that we are looking to bring a new member of the team on board…
Are you…
Proactive, enthusiastic and hard working? These are absolute musts to work with us as every member of the team is expected to pitch in to enable us to continue our progress. The role would also suit someone who enjoys working in a small team where their opinion and ideas are welcome…we actively encourage this from day one.
We don't require formal qualifications as we are more interested in developing you as a person, though previous experience working in property is required (experience of working in lettings would be great)…and you certainly have to like people You will also need to communicate effectively and show professionalism, honesty and integrity in all dealings with our tenants, our contractors and the team.
If you have multiple years of experience and a long list of industry qualifications, please don't let that put you off applying – within the next year we will be looking for someone to run this side of the business…it would be great to bring that date forward to now…
What you will do…
It's impossible to illustrate the role of a property manager in a few bullet points as it's so varied and no two days are ever the same… However, to give you an idea, these would be some of the more regular tasks :-
Generate lettings enquiries through multiple marketing functions and respond efficiently to all
Conduct viewings – predominanlty weekdays and occasionally evenings or Saturday mornings
Answer incoming calls and enquiries
Utilise our property management software – Arthur
Run our social media channels (currently sadly neglected)
Liaise with utility companies
Assess applicants documentation
Draw up and send tenants tenancy documents
Help with the process for tenants moving in and moving out
Organise inventories
Lead the way on compliance
Schedule maintenance – organise tradesmen
Carry out routine inspections – e.g. maintenance / fire safety
Liaise with housing inspectors/licencing
What we offer…
Most importantly, we offer an environment where you will be given the opportunity to thrive and will be encouraged to make the most of your potential. We offer flexible working arrangements and expect you to show the responsibilty to work without being constantly monitored.
In terms of salary, we have indicated rates for a 20 hour week. We are flexible, for the right person, in terms of offering a part time or full time role.
You will also qualify for our company bonus scheme – quite simply, if the company is successful you will righty share in this success. This is one of the many benefits of working for a smaller company where the founders are from a target driven environment – we want to reward success
