We are seeking a highly motivated Head of Commercial Partnerships and Sales with a passion for sales, apprenticeships, and education. The successful candidate will establish and maintain strategic partnerships, secure a recurring sales pipeline, and help position Croydon College as a leading Skills Provider in South London. This role involves securing contracts, negotiating agreements, learner recruitment, and securing high-quality work placements for students.
Key Responsibilities
1. Developing and implementing sales strategies: Create strategies aligned with growth targets, identifying new markets and opportunities.
2. Managing commercial partnerships: Establish and maintain strategic alliances with businesses to drive sales and growth.
3. Sales and pipeline planning: Ensure a robust pipeline for apprenticeships and develop strategies to grow programs.
4. Stakeholder relations: Build and manage relationships with employers and community partners.
5. Contract negotiation: Secure contracts and negotiate agreements for successful collaborations.
Candidate Requirements
* Strong knowledge of the skills landscape and the socio-economic context of employer and learner engagement.
* Understanding of local labour market opportunities and trends.
* Experience leading a sales team in a target-driven environment.
* Experience in apprenticeship sales with various-sized employers.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and achieve targets independently.
