As a Chartered Valuation Surveyor, you'll be responsible for valuations, negotiations, and providing property-related advice. You'll manage large caseloads, undertake site inspections, oversee the quality assurance process, and represent the Valuation Office Agency at tribunals.
You will be providing technical valuation and property advice to clients and managing your caseload effectively, ensuring the delivery of quality work. Responsibilities also include:
* Identifying, escalating, mitigating, or managing risks and issues.
* Providing property valuation advice to support local and national taxation.
* Appearance at Valuation Tribunal, and potentially Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) as required.
* Acting as the Lead Valuer, offering technical and valuation guidance to colleagues.
* Marketing sector-specific services and maintaining client relationships.
* Providing quotes to clients and accurately recording time for billing and reporting.
* Supporting and developing our pipeline of trainee surveyors, overseeing their journey through the APC, and coaching peers.
