Driver Immediate start Permanent Rate of pay: £15 Gen Tech Recruitment are seeking an experienced Driver for our client based in Belfast. We are looking for experienced Drivers to join their transport team. There are two roles available Friday, Saturday and Sunday & Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Duties: Delivery and collection of clean and soiled linen; Unloading of the company vehicle on your return to the Company at the end of your day's delivery round; You may be required to load your vehicle for the following day; Collection of soiled linen lists and handing them into the service office, as required Recording of any delivery times/windows and securing signature on delivery notes; Day-to-day liaison with customers and the office; and Regular communication with the Transport Manager. You must not: Smoke any type of cigarette/cigar etc including electronic cigarettes in the vehicle Take the vehicle off the designated route, other than as directed by Emergency Services, Traffic signs (official diversions), or for a comfort break unless with the express permission of Management Take any passengers in the vehicle without the express permission of Management Wear shorts or clothing with any offensive or distasteful logos/images Requirements: Class 2 license Valid CPC card Digital Tachograph Card Valid driver's license and clean driving record Proven experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job Familiarity with navigation and route planning tools
