Overview

We're looking for dedicated, compassionate, and reliable Ad Hoc SEND Teaching Assistants to support schools across Medway and Maidstone from the end of term 1.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEN
* Assist with classroom tasks, activities, and behaviour management
* Adapt learning materials and strategies to meet individual needs
* Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals
Requirements
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (in schools or other settings)
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Flexibility to work on a day-to-day basis, sometimes at short notice
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
