We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Conveyancing Assistant to join our busy and well-established Residential Property team in our Bristol office. This role is ideal for someone with conveyancing experience who enjoys providing high-quality support and working as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing administrative and legal support to conveyancers and fee earners
* Opening, maintaining and closing files in accordance with firm procedures
* Preparing and issuing contract packs
* Assisting with searches, Land Registry applications and SDLT returns
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors
* Managing correspondence, emails and telephone enquiries
* Updating case management systems and ensuring files are kept up to date
* Supporting with completions and post-completion matters
About You
* Previous experience in a conveyancing or residential property role is desirable
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office
* Professional, approachable and client-focused
* Able to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure
* A team player with good communication skills
