Casework Service Manager Home-based with travel across the UK The Organisation Our client provides support to individuals and families working in a specific industry sector. Focusing on outdoor activity, gardens and the countryside, they offer advice and services to those experiencing problems. They are now looking for a Caseworker Service Manager to join them on a full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week, for a 12 month, fixed term contract. The Role As a Caseworker Service Manager, you will lead the operational delivery of our client’s casework and advice services, empowering people across the UK to navigate and overcome a wide range of life challenges. Specifically, you will oversee the management of their multi-channel casework services, ensuring they are compliant, effective and aligned with our client’s strategy to both help people in crisis and prevent future difficulties. You will also be a key figure in building a positive working culture, managing a remote casework team through effective planning and allocation of work, training, development and support. Your work, and the work of your team, will support individuals and families through key life events. You will ensure they receive tailored, person-centred interventions that focus on long-term resilience and positive outcomes. Additionally, you will: - Provide guidance and expertise on complex and challenging cases - Monitor case management protocols to maintain quality standards - Ensure regulatory and policy changes are implemented effectively About You To be considered as a Caseworker Service Manager, you will need: - At least three years’ experience within an advice and information service delivery environment - At least two years’ experience of line managing a dispersed team - Experience of working with adults or families with complex needs, delivering outcome-focused interventions - Experience of assessing the operational impact of regulations and policies and implementing new processes - Technical knowledge in at least one of the following areas: welfare benefits, health and social care systems, or housing systems - Knowledge of safeguarding, risk and needs assessment, and support planning procedures - Competency in IT systems and packages - Strong organisational and project management skills - Strong communication and influencing skills Other organisations may call this role Service Delivery Manager, Advice Service Manager, Welfare Services Manager, Casework Lead, Service Lead, or Casework Manager.
