Key Responsibilities: Teaching & Learning: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum. Classroom Management: Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and progress. Assessment: Track pupil attainment and progress, using data to inform planning and intervention. Differentiation: Adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with SEND or EAL. Collaboration: Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support each child's learning journey. Safeguarding: Uphold school safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils. Contract Details: Position: KS1 Teacher Type of Work: Long-Term / Full-Time Start Date: December 2025 Duration: Ongoing Contract Type: Ongoing Working Hours: 08:15 AM - 3:45 PM, Monday to Friday Experience & Qualifications: Essential: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching within KS1 in a UK primary school. Desirable: Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment framework. Up-to-date Safeguarding and Child Protection training. Eligibility Requirements: Right to work in the UK. Enhanced DBS certificate (on the Update Service) or willingness to apply for one. Two professional references from educational settings.
