About the Role
The Deerhouse Manager is responsible for the successful day-to-day operation of the pub, bar, restaurant, and swimming pool facilities, delivering a high-quality guest experience while driving commercial performance. Working closely with the Head Chef and wider holiday park management team, the role oversees team leadership, stock control, financial performance, and service standards. The Deerhouse Manager plays a key role in profitability, and growth, while ensuring all operations run safely, efficiently, and in line with Rudding Park standards, contributing as a senior member of the holiday park management team.

Key Responsbilities
* Works alongside the head chef to deliver a quality seasonal menu.
* Manage and order stock (cost control, levels, waste management and stock takes)
* Recruitment - ensure the correct staffing levels are in place to deliver the right standard of service and a profitable operation whist adhering to budget.
* To ensure rotas are completed in advance on fourth.
* Marketing and advertising - Working with marketing to advertise any entertainment, sports fixtures, food & drinks promotions and Theme nights.
* Create a business plan and deliver to exceed budget and operate profitably.
* Swimming pool - Being accountable for the swimming pool staffing levels and stock sold on the reception desk. Daily revenue posting, standards of the venue and opening and closing procedures. Being accountable for swimming pool health & safety.
* Part of senior management at the holiday park to support night duty warden / evening security.
* Act as a point of contact for late arrivals
Skills/Qualifications
* A full, valid UK driving licence is required.
* Previous hospoitality experience required
* Personal license is desirable but not essential
In return for your hard work and commitment we offer:
* Enhanced pay - 50p per hour for evening work after 7pm (Sunday - Thursday), £1 per hour for weekend day work until 7pm (Saturdays and Sundays), £1.50 per hour for evenings from 7pm (Friday and Saturdays)
* Service Charge (Tronc) earn up to an additional £5,000 per year
