We currently have a temporary role available within the DS Smith site at Smethwick. This role is ideal for someone with previous Warehouse, production or manufacturing experience
Role: Production Operative
Shifts: Monday - Thursday 6am -2pm and Friday 6am -1pm and the following week Monday-Thursday 2pm-6am and Friday 1pm-8pm
Pay: £15.75 per hour
Duration: 3 months initially
Location: DS Smith, Summit Crescent,Smethwick,West Midlands. B66 1BT
Role & Responsibilities
As a Production/ Warehouse operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods, from receiving to dispatch. You'll be part of a friendly, collaborative team committed to providing excellent service.
Main tasks include
Picking and packingLoading and unloading goods from vehicles.Maintaining a clean and organized work area.Adhering to all health and safety regulations at all times.Requirements
Previous experience as a warehouse operativeAbility to work effectively as part of a team.Good communication skills.Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.Physical stamina for warehouse work.Reliability and punctuality.Ability to work effectively under pressure.Benefits:
