Screening Officer with Securitas

Using advanced screening tools like wands and metal detectors, you’ll help maintain high security standards while delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities
* Adhere to and apply the Screening Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
* Require datacentre personnel to utilise metal detection and/or wand for secure area access
* Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel
* Perform hand-held wand searches and walk-through metal detection searches
* Follow safe work practices and be aware of company policies and procedures related to job safety. Notify superiors of any unsafe working conditions
* Demonstrate understanding and engagement with the Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness, whilst showing a natural ability to recognise risk within the workplace and consider safety as a priority, complying with relevant policies, procedures and training as provided by the Company
* Monitor traffic flow through screening checkpoints

Qualifications
* Proven experience in datacentre operations or equivalent security industry experience; or equivalent experience in forces/services
* The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
* Should be contactable days, nights and weekends for short notice cover
* Reliable and great team player
* Great customer service skills
* Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
