Our client, a leading engineering and maintenance provider, is seeking a skilled Panel Wirer to join their team in St Helens on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide wiring, mechanical assembly and fitting of components within electrical control cabinets and systems
* Read and understand circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
* Collaborate effectively with the engineering team
* Wire electrical control cabinets and systems
* Work both independently and as part of a multi-skilled team
* Fit out and assemble components within electrical control cabinets and systems
* Work as part of a team and use knowledge of 5S/Lean manufacturing to achieve KPIs
Job Requirements:
* Experience as a Panel Wirer within the manufacturing sector
* Proficient in reading and understanding circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of 5S/Lean manufacturing principles
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
