In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in both residential and commercial settings. You will work with a variety of electrical components, ensuring that all installations comply with safety regulations and local codes. Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
* Conduct inspections and troubleshoot electrical problems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to execute work effectively.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
* Provide accurate estimates for electrical work and inform clients of costs, timelines, and required materials.
* Stay current with the latest industry trends, codes, and safety practices concerning electrical installations.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
* Assist in training apprentices and junior electricians as needed.
Requirements
* Completion of a recognized electrician training program or apprenticeship.
* Several years of experience as a licensed Electrician, preferably in commercial and residential projects.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
* Valid electrician’s license and relevant certifications.
* Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
