They are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their close-knit Birmingham team, primarily focusing on housing development projects across the Midlands. You will play an integral role in their civil engineering division, contributing to various projects, including infrastructure, drainage, and highway schemes for new developments. Key Responsibilities · Design of new infrastructure schemes (roads, drainage, external works). · Design of roundabouts, signal junctions and other s278 highway schemes. · Design of sustainable drainage systems. · Manage and lead projects to company standards (administration, client liaison, quality, free proposals etc.) · Meetings with clients, authorities and other agencies. Ideal Candidate · Minimum 5 years relevant experience. · Proficient in the use of design software such as AutoCAD, PDS, Civils 3D, XPSite3D, Micro Drainage. · Working knowledge of highway and drainage standards. · Comfortable in client facing meetings. · Experienced in a senior role in civil engineering.
