Logistics Operative Location: Cheltenham The role: We are looking for a Logistics Operator (shift-based) to join a busy and fast-paced logistics team. You will play a key role in supporting end-to-end warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety. Key responsibilities: Carry out a variety of logistics tasks including goods receipt, put away, picking, packing, loading and despatch Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and meet on-time delivery requirements Operate across multiple logistics areas including Goods Receiving Bay, stores and distribution centre Use MRP/WMS systems to complete transactions accurately and within required timelines Operate material handling equipment (MHE) safely and effectively Maintain compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards Support stock counts and investigate discrepancies Build strong working relationships with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ongoing operational enhancements Support general housekeeping, including recycling and waste management. Your experience: Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment Familiarity with fast-paced, high-volume operations Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar tools Competence operating MHE (with up-to-date licences preferred) Basic IT skills and understanding of operational processes within logistics Your skills: Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team Good organisational and time management skills Proactive, flexible and adaptable approach to work Clear communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn and develop The Steam Thermal Solutions business is one of three businesses within Spirax Group.
