Overview
Multi Skilled Engineer – Electrical Bias role at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services. The role involves providing a multi-skilled maintenance service covering electrical and mechanical disciplines, with reactive and pro-active maintenance as per project requirements for operational equipment in a corporate environment.
Responsibilities
* Carry out reactive and maintenance tasks within a corporate environment to meet key performance indicators.
* Liaise with contractors or external suppliers as required and complete required paperwork, with reports produced accurately and on time.
* Work to high standards in line with current company policies and procedures; report any deficiencies in systems of work or equipment that may affect service delivery, health and safety or the environment.
* Ensure own work and the work of those under supervision is completed safely and diligently.
Qualifications
* Up-to-date training such as NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance (multi-discipline).
* Good knowledge of building statutory compliance.
* Ability to maintain a safe working environment under the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974).
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings; strong problem-solving and decision-making skills; effective verbal and written communication.
* Willingness to undertake suitable training to achieve required skills.
