Customer Solutions Manager Role Reporting to the Plant Manager, as a CSM you will be focused on new business generation. You will also be managing the needs of existing customers with support from the wider team. An ability to switch focus and manage your time will support your success in meeting agreed sales targets/ KPIs. You will thrive in building relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders across a range of customer accounts, continually reviewing needs and acting on opportunities to present value added solutions. Key Responsibilities Help to grow the Belfast Plant’s market share through generating new business opportunities whilst developing existing customer accounts Be the main external point of contact for your customers, with emphasis on building relationships throughout the organisation Maintain strong sales administration including the use of CRM (Dynamics) to follow up all leads, inquiries/quotes Adopt a value selling consultative approach with customers in tailoring appropriate solutions to meet needs while developing/maintaining a strong knowledge of all packaging solutions and full product range Work in collaboration with your key internal colleagues across Sales, Design and Operations. Win new business and to grow our market share through use of the Value Selling Process Understand the customer and market specific challenges and pains in relation to consumable packaging and contribute in building tailored added value solutions. Achieving sales volume, revenue and budget targets as defined by the Plant Manager. Essential Criteria Be educated to third level or equivalent experience. Be customer focused and have sales experience working in the packaging industry and/or a B2B sales environment with proven ability to win new business through direct customer contact. Possess solid account management skills with a strong drive to deliver customer satisfaction and sustainable profit and volume growth. Be able to demonstrate working as a valued partner with your customer and be able to demonstrate a recent track record of success in meeting sales targets. Have excellent spoken and written communication skills Be proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM systems Have a full driving licence. Desirable Criteria Prior packaging sales experience is welcomed, but we will consider candidates who can demonstrate a strong track record of sales achievement within closely related sectors. Ideally have experience dealing directly with Purchasing, Quality, Engineering or Supply Chain departments in the manufacturing industry.
