As Disturbia continues to grow, we are looking for ambitious People & Culture Assistant to join our People & Culture Team. This is a great position for someone passionate about great company culture and who wants to be in a position which interacts with every department in the business and has a role in shaping the wider company culture.
This role will report into and partner with the People & Culture Manager.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration: keeping on top of administrative tasks such as writing employee change of term letters, maintaining the HR system (Sage) and writing contracts.
Recruitment: Support the P&C Manager with recruitment; scheduling interviews and ensuring all candidates are fed back to in a timely manner.
Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process, ensuring all steps in the checklist are followed on time and giving our new hires an amazing first impression.
Monthly newsletter: Prepare content for the monthly newsletter, and writing engaging content.
Social & CSR: Being an active member of the company social committee and support with the facilitation and organisation of company events and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Health & Safety: Organise any health and safety training as directed by the P&C manager.
Policy: Keeping in the know with changing employment laws and ensure all policies are kept up to date.
HR System management: Keep the HR system regularly updated with job descriptions and correct details for all roles.
Culture: Be an active member of the culture across both offices, building relationships and becoming a trusted contact to the team.
About You
To be a success in this role, you will ideally have some, if not all of the following qualities:
* Some previous HR experience is desirable but not necessary. You must have a desire to have a career in people management and have transferable skills as per this list.
* Prior experience in an office environment is desirable, ideally in a fast-moving, non-corporate environment.
* Discretion is a must as you will have access to confidential employee information.
* Excellent written and verbal communication styles.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Efficient and organised working styles.
* A proactive approach to building relationships across the business.
* A professional demeanour.
