We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Estates Manager to join our clients team in Newcastle. This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the management and operation of the companies estate portfolio, ensuring optimal performance, tenant satisfaction, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead the management of the estate portfolio, including maintenance, security, and health & safety compliance.\nDevelop and implement strategies for the efficient operation of properties, aiming for cost reduction and value enhancement.\nLiaise with tenants, handling enquiries and resolving issues promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction.\nOversee lease management activities, including negotiations, renewals, and terminations.\nCoordinate with external contractors and suppliers, ensuring quality services are delivered on time and within budget.\nPrepare and manage the annual budget for estate operations, monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.\nConduct regular site inspections to ensure properties are maintained to the highest standards.\nKeep abreast of market trends and legislative changes that could impact the portfolio.Requirements:\n\nProven experience in estate or property management, ideally within a multi-site portfolio.\nStrong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct staff.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with tenants, contractors, and team members.\nKnowledge of property law, health & safety regulations, and best practices in property management.\nFinancial acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and cost management.\nA degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Business Administration, or related field is desirable.\nMembership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) would be advantageous.What We Offer:\n\nA competitive salary of up to £55,000, dependent on experience.\nOpportunities for professional development and career advancement.\nA dynamic and supportive work environment.\nThe chance to work with a diverse property portfolio in a key strategic role.Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
