About the role
The
Americas Demand & Supply Manager
is responsible for establishing and embedding Sales & Operations Planning across the Americas, a region in the early stages of IBP maturity. Reporting to the Head of IBP
EMEA & Americas, this role will work across commercial, supply chain, and finance functions to build robust planning processes that align demand, supply, and financial goals.
This is a hands-on role, requiring a strong operational leader to develop forecasts, supply plans, and inventory strategies while building the governance, cadence, and culture required for a sustainable IBP process. As Vinarchy develops new routes to market in the Americas, the S&OP Manager will also support commercialisation plans, ensuring operational readiness for launches, promotions, and market expansions.
Please note, this role requires regular travel to the Americas and working outside normal UK office hours to support the time zone differences.
This is a full-time role, working five days a week. To ensure effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders in the Americas (Western time zone), the role will initially require working hours of 12.00pm to 8.00pm at least three days per week. Over time, it is expected that this coverage will extend to five days per week, maintaining the same hours to support consistent time zone overlap.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Establish & Lead the S&OP Cycle
Design and implement monthly and tactical S&OP processes in line with global IBP standards.
Facilitate cross-functional reviews to align demand and supply, escalate risks, and resolve constraints.
Embed data integrity, scenario planning, and KPI tracking into the planning cycle.
Demand Planning Leadership
Partner with commercial teams to create a rolling 1236 month demand forecast.
Incorporate market intelligence, promotional activity, and NPD into the forecast.
Track and improve forecast accuracy, bias and forecast assumptions.
Be the champion for system led solutions for demand planning for the Americas, such as Anaplan.
Supply Planning & US Market Supply Enablement
Development and management of supply plans that balance service and inventory.
Support the setup of new supply chain partnerships, co-packing operations, and distribution networks in the Americas.
Collaborate with EMEA supply teams to ensure alignment on global capacity, production, and inventory flows.
Be the champion for system led solutions for supply planning for the Americas, such as Anaplan.
Performance Management & Reporting
Define and report on S&OP KPIs (Forecast Accuracy, OTIF, Inventory Health).
Identify and deliver process improvement opportunities across the supply chain.
What Youll Bring:
Essential:
5-8 years experience in S&OP, supply chain, or demand/supply planning roles.
Proven track record in establishing or maturing S&OP processes in developing or complex markets.
Strong analytical capability and proficiency in planning tools (Anaplan, SAP, JDE, or equivalent).
Ability to engage and influence stakeholders in both operational and strategic discussions.
Preferred:
Experience in FMCG, wine, or beverage industries.
Knowledge of export logistics and co-packing operations.
Spanish or Portuguese language skills.
Experience demand and supply planning tools such as Anaplan.
