Salary: £101.40 – £110 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Flexible – Full-time / Part-time / Day-to-day

About the Role

Milk Education is working closely with a large and welcoming secondary school in the East Leeds area, and we are looking to expand their Cover Supervisor pool.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in working in education, gaining valuable classroom experience, and making a positive difference to students’ learning. You will supervise classes in the absence of teachers, delivering pre-prepared work and supporting students to stay focused and engaged.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise lessons across a variety of subjects using pre-planned resources.

2. Manage classroom behaviour effectively and in line with school policies.

3. Ensure students remain on task and engaged in their learning.

4. Provide feedback to teaching staff about student progress where appropriate.

5. Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

About You

6. Experience working with young people in any capacity (education, youth work, mentoring, coaching, etc.).

7. Strong communication and organisational skills.

8. Confidence in leading groups of students aged 11–16.

9. Adaptable, resilient, and able to build good relationships quickly.

10. A genuine interest in education and supporting young people.
