We’re currently partnering with a highly regarded private practice based in Newcastle to recruit a Tax Senior (or Semi Senior). The Role
As a Tax Senior, you will play a key role in managing a varied client portfolio, providing both compliance and advisory services. You’ll work closely with partners and managers while also mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a portfolio of personal and/or corporate tax clients
* Preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring compliance with current legislation
* Providing tax planning advice to a diverse client base (SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and high-net-worth individuals)
* Supporting with complex tax matters and ad hoc advisory projects
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Assisting in the development and training of junior staff
About You
* ATT qualified / CTA part-qualified or qualified (or equivalent)
* Proven experience within a UK accountancy practice
* Strong technical knowledge across personal and/or corporate tax
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially aware
