Overview of job
This role is a key part of the finance team with a supporting profile within the agency. Responsibilities include ongoing improvement of all business processes, including reviewing, implementing, and enhancing best practices for our clients. The role involves weekly/monthly reporting of key analytical data, resolving supplier queries, acting as the point of contact for client teams (working with large retail and FMCG clients), and establishing new ways of working.
This will be achieved by collaborating with stakeholders such as clients, client account teams, the commercial team, and the shared service centre.

This position reports to the Senior Client Finance Analyst.

Responsibilities of the role:
Net Working Capital Management
* Assist in the ongoing performance improvement of all aspects of NWC and develop processes to maximize cash conversion.
* Support the completion of required business reporting.
* Coordinate proactive monitoring and resolve aged unbilled and debtor issues, working closely with departments and client teams.
* Manage complex client billing issues.
* Assist in creating and monitoring tracking tools to assess the impact of best practice implementation.
Finance Process Improvement
* Review and implement process improvement initiatives affecting working capital, such as best practices, training, billing, and collections strategies.
* Identify and implement financial process initiatives involving stakeholders like clients, shared service centres, and client account teams.
* Review key client accounts and suggest adjustments to finance processes.
* Manage workshops with client teams to design more effective finance processes based on gap analysis.
* Support onboarding of new clients with the CFM.
* Assist in preparing and delivering training on new processes to client teams.
Controls and Compliance
* Ensure robust internal controls are maintained and the control environment remains strong.
* Ensure compliance with key contractual terms for all clients.
* Contribute to all audits including internal, external, Sarbanes-Oxley, and client audits.

* Industry experience and knowledge of media systems are essential, with a minimum of three years’ experience.
* Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.

* Excellent communication skills with stakeholders including clients and senior staff.
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Basic NWC knowledge and strong analytical skills.
* Ability to work productively in high-pressure environments.

* Confident with good workshop and presentation skills.
