An exciting opportunity is available for a Learning Support Assistant to join a successful Additional Learning Support team. This full-time role involves supporting learners in accessing education, both in the classroom and in individual support sessions. You'll assist teaching staff in meeting diverse learning needs and contribute to developing individual support plans. Applicants should ideally be educated to at least Level 3 and have experience supporting young people or adults with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities. Knowledge of EHCP procedures and experience within an FE setting are desirable but not essential. Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and accurate record-keeping are key, along with a proactive, learner-focused approach. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise students, under the oversight of teaching staff, within the learning environment to assist in developing specialist skills and ensure safe working practices.
