Housing Management Worker
Earn £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum) [pro rata] and great benefits including Health Cash Plan.
Permanent, part time (9.5hpw), Saturdays. Norwich.

What you’ll do
We are looking for a Housing and Property Specialist to join our team in Rosary Road. You’ll support our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. The role involves providing a housing management service, helping residents manage their tenancy and rent accounts, and supporting them to move on to secure, long‑term accommodation.
* Customer group – people who have experienced homelessness with a wide range of support needs including but not limited to ex‑offending, substance misuse, mental & physical health.
* Make sure our customers’ properties are homes they can be proud of, engaging and involving them in their tenancies.
* Help customers with housing benefit claims, ensuring they are received on their rent account.
* Turn around vacant or void rooms within set timescales to support new customers and maximize occupancy – this will involve picking up a broom or paint brush!
* Carry out and record routine safety and compliance checks in our buildings and communities, ensuring we remain compliant.
* Manage the admin work, updating records, ordering and arranging payment for works to be done.

You have
* A background in property management, but that’s not a deal breaker! Perhaps you’ve worked in an environment with compliance and health and safety checks?
* A passion for delivering excellent customer service and a genuine desire to help your customers.
* The ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.
* Confidence working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners.

The practical bits
* One day a week on a Saturday.
* Based at our service in Norwich.
* Use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims and doing tenancy sign‑ups.
* You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done – we pay for that.
