Job Overview: Pulse Water is seeking a trainee water hygiene engineer to join our team to support the lead engineer in a two-person team, working primarily on our national hospitality contract. This role will involve cleaning water tanks across various sites in the Midlands, North UK, and Wales, with other working locations as required. Stay-aways will be included as needed, in line with contract requirements. As the trainee engineer, you will work alongside the lead engineer to ensure high-quality service delivery.
In addition to tank cleaning, you will occasionally undertake tasks such as disinfections, water sampling, shower descaling, TMV servicing, and other water hygiene duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist with water tank cleaning operations for our national hospitality contract.
· Perform additional water hygiene tasks, including disinfections, water sampling, shower descaling, and TMV servicing alongside the lead engineer.
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations.
· Travel to various sites across the Midlands, North UK, Wales, and other locations as required, with stay-aways included as per contract.
Requirements:
· Full UK driving licence (essential).
· Willingness to learn.
· Ability to work in a small team.
· Willingness to travel across the Midlands, North UK, Wales, and other locations, including stay-aways as required.
· Maintenance experience advantageous but not essential.
