Retrofit Assessor and On-Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA) (Trainee)

Role
This role provides an excellent opportunity for a certified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) who is eager to expand their expertise by training to become both a Retrofit Assessor and an On-Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA). You will be involved in:
•Conducting SAP assessments and EPCs.
•Conducting Retrofit Assessments
•Generating Energy and Sustainability Statements
•Maintaining and creating relationships with trusted clients.
•Assisting in managing projects from start to completion with our in-house team.
•Training to become a certified Retrofit Assessor and OCDEA.
•Future training possibilities in overheating calculations (TM59) and SBEM calculations (NDEA)
•Optional training as an on-site tester in air tightness, sound insulation, and ventilation.
Candidate
We are looking for a well-rounded, enthusiastic individual with a current DEA qualification who is keen to further their career in energy assessment. We pride ourselves on our customer service and want to hire someone that is able to communicate effectively with their customers and fit in with the rest of the team Ideal candidates will possess:
•A good knowledge of building regulations and construction.
•Experience in viewing and dealing with planning or architects' drawings.
•Quick learning ability and aptitude for working both in teams and independently.
•Strong mathematical skills and excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
•Confidence in client-facing roles and a commitment to maintaining high customer service standards.
Requirements:
•All applicants must be able to get to and from our offices in Borehamwood.
•A good level of Maths and English is essential.
•Must reside within 40 miles of Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.
•Full, clean driving licence
Company Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
Working Hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday-Friday
