Location and Working Hours

Location: Lanark Local Office

Hours: 35 hours per week, fixed term for 9 months

Work Pattern: Monday – Thursday 8:45 AM – 4:45 PM, Friday 8:45 AM – 4:15 PM

Salary: £33,468 – £34,399 per year


Role Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to join the Clydesdale Team within Housing Services. As a Housing Officer you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of housing services to our customers.


Key Responsibilities

* Deliver housing services, addressing homelessness, allocations, estate management, rent recovery, and anti‑social behaviour.
* Maintain knowledge of current issues and legislation related to homelessness.
* Use excellent IT skills to organise and prioritise workloads effectively.
* Respond and adapt to changing priorities while delivering quality service.
* Communicate effectively and liaise with a variety of agencies.


Qualifications & Experience

Experienced individual with a background in a housing related environment. The ideal candidate should understand current issues and legislation pertaining to homelessness, allocations, estate management, rent recovery, and anti‑social behaviour.

Excellent IT skills and the ability to organise and prioritise workload in an effective manner.

Strong communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with a variety of agencies.
