Join Our Team as a Part-Time Chef!
Are you ready to bring your culinary passion to life? We're on the lookout for an ambitious Chef to join Chartwells on a part-time basis, with a commitment of 25 hours per week. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to create exceptional food experiences that brighten the days of our clients and customers. As part of the UK’s leading food service company, you’ll be supported in your growth and celebrated for your individuality.
Please note: This position is contracted for 43 weeks per year.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Chef at Chartwells, you will:
* Prepare delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
* Oversee and implement menu changes to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
* Identify opportunities to enhance our food services.
* Act on customer feedback to continuously improve our culinary offerings.
* Support the creation of new menus and innovative food concepts.
* Represent Chartwells positively and maintain our brand image.
* Monitor inventories to ensure our kitchens are well-stocked.
* Oversee kitchen cleaning responsibilities to uphold hygiene standards.
* Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations.
Are You the Ideal Chef?
We’re looking for someone who:
* Is passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
* Holds a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
* Has experience supervising a team.
* Has a background in a similar Chef role.
* Holds a Food Hygiene certificate.
* Has a flexible approach to working.
