Part of a larger group, this well-established Design and manufacturer has a reputation for product excellence and innovation. They are a niche product manufacturer supplying various FMCG industries and sectors. Their products are in high demand due to changing customer needs.
They require a Development Engineer with a strong R&D background to develop their varied, often bespoke products.
Role & Responsibilities:
* The successful candidate will work alongside the Design, Quality, and Manufacturing teams, supporting the ongoing development of new and legacy products.
* Designing components and products using SolidWorks, DFME.
* Evaluation of new product specifications.
* Handling new customer enquiries through the development lifecycle, from prototype stage to final testing, report writing, and customer handover.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in developing Electrical-Mechanical products.
* Ability to perform hands-on tooling and machine setup.
* Experience with Product Testing and GD&T.
* Strong statistical and data analysis skills.
