Job Overview: This role will involve all aspects of responsive property as well as planned maintenance. Responsibilities & Duties: * Oversee void rooms and units to prepare for new occupier * Ensure security of property at all times * Oversee maintenance of common part areas * Painting * Basic Plumbing * Basic carpentry including door hanging (Essential) * Lock changing (Essential) * Gardening including fencing * Bathrooms and kitchen repairs * Furniture / Rubbish removals * Cleaning (desirable) * Problem solving Key Stakeholders Internal: * Maintenance Department * Landlord Services Team External: * Landlords and Letting Agents * Residents Personal Characteristics: Skills Essential: * Basic carpentry including door hanging * Lock changing * Painting and decorating * Ability to work independently or as part of a team * Current driving licence Desirable: * Cleaning Knowledge Essential: * Basic knowledge of electrics * Previous experience as a maintenance operative in multisite Desirable: * Basic knowledge of gas boilers & electric heating systems Behaviour * Resilient and able deal with people who are complex and sometimes challenging. * Keen to support colleagues and ensure business is working cohesively and to the same objectives. * Keen on strong compliance culture * Able to work without direction * Adaptability and being prepared to help out if circumstances require. * Keen to lead by example.
