Do you want to shape and influence the public transport network for the future? Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) is the largest of Scotland’s seven Regional Transport Partnerships, established by the Transport (Scotland) Act 2005. As well as running the iconic Glasgow Subway, SPT delivers an extensive range of public transport services including bus stations and subsidised bus services. We deliver projects directly and in partnership with others, and we are responsible for preparation of the statutory Regional Transport Strategy for the west of Scotland.
This is an exciting time to join SPT as we lead on significant transport transformation plans which include bus reform, the Clyde Metro, a regional-wide integrated transport network and the latter stages of the significant Subway system modernisation. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring we are in a place to deliver our ambitions, we need to consider not just process and function, but also how we take our employees, colleagues. stakeholders and customers on our journey.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and working collaboratively with the leadership team of SPT, the Head of Transformation will work with a wide range of people with a vast spectrum of skills and experience to define and develop a Future Operating Model for the organisation. You will work with existing workstreams in the business, such as Subway, Corporate Services, and major new developing workstreams including Clyde Metro and Bus Reform, to understand how these plans come together to deliver the future business requirements.
We are seeking someone with strong leadership skills who is an excellent communicator with proven experience of leading large-scale transformation projects within which people and culture, and processes have come together for success.
