HGV Class 1 Driver People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Falkirk. This is a fantastic opportunity, offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities for growth and progression Shifts: Monday to Friday days : 7am starts Monday to Friday nights: 7pm starts Rates of pay: Days : £15.00 per hour Nights £18.50 per hour Benefits include: Your benefits as a HGV Class 1 Driver will be: Ongoing work Weekly pay Site canteen Training provided Immediate starts Day-to-day duties: As a HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but not be limited to): Delivering Pallets to client premises. Operating and driving Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhering to traffic laws and regulations Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo when required Essential skills: To be successful as a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need: A valid UK Category CE Driving Licence A minimum of twelve months' experience driving Category CE vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes A valid UK CPC card and Digi card Good spoken and written English Punctuality and excellent time-keeping skills A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Training: Driver's assessment must be completed before starting, and this will take place on your first shift Industry related training and ongoing support throughout Contact: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a HGV Class 1 Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
