About the Project
The role is on a secure £10 m mechanical package, requiring site leadership, strong coordination, and maintaining high standards while works progress at pace.
Responsibilities
* Drive mechanical delivery on site, keeping subcontractors moving and ensuring quality.
* Maintain programme protection day to day, checking progress against schedule.
* Coordinate plant, materials, and site logistics for HVAC and general mechanical services.
* Track progress, deal with technical issues, and keep installation aligned with the programme.
* Support commissioning and handover, working closely with the Project Manager and wider team.
* Ensure safety and specification compliance while communicating clearly and spotting problems early.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Mechanical Site Manager or a strong Mechanical Supervisor in a larger role.
* Familiarity with secure, regulated or heavily controlled environments.
* Strong leadership skills, with a proactive approach to keeping delivery on track while maintaining quality and safety.
* Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, with a proactive approach to safety and compliance.
* Knowledge of mechanical building services, HVAC systems, and general mechanical installations.
Compensation
Choice of day‑rate £300‑£350 or permanent salary £60,000‑£70,000 plus travel.
