As a Location Independent Worker, for operational reasons you may be required to perform your duties, either temporarily or permanently, from any of Vodafone’s UK offices or customer sites within a reasonable geographic area of your home address. What you’ll do

The purpose of our Specialist Sales team is to support Vodafone Business UK to accelerate AOV from our strategic growth product areas, providing the technical and commercial expertise to support our customers, and help upskill our account managers. Our Specialists are deep experts within their product categories, and alongside owning opportunities, work with our Sales teams to build capability on their product specialisms, to raise the bar and ability to sell these products within our business.

This exciting role will lead a team of Fixed Specialists as part of the brand new Specialist Sales function in VBUK, which will be substantially growing its headcount to accelerate AOV growth from key products that will drive our LRP and strategy. It will be responsible for creating a diverse and highly skilled new team of Fixed Specialists, and supporting VBUK to raise the bar on selling complex B&C products. Key accountabilities include:

1. Build a high-performing, highly skilled and diverse team of Fixed Specialists to deliver AOV growth across key product areas
2. Ability to think strategically and drive transformational sales programmes, working cross-functionally to set the team for success
3. Act as an ambassador for the Specialist Sales team, working with leadership team to embed persona across our Sales segments to drive adoption & collaboration
4. Drive team to play a key role in educating the wider Sales team to be proficient in selling Fixed products
5. Drive and influence Fixed product roadmap based on market insights
6. Build key internal stakeholder relationships and engage their support in delivering Sales objectives (particularly Product, Presales & Commercial)
7. Manage team performance to deliver against AoV targets
8. Ensure rigour and compliance around sales methodology and tools (particularly 1SF and complex sales) to ensure alignment with other functions
9. Create a culture of continuous personal development on B&C products



Who you are

10. Skilled in strategic planning, data analysis, and financial insight, with a desirable strong market expertise and/or technological proficiency.
11. Experience leading and building high-performing Sales teams
12. Comfortable within a changing environment and leading change
13. Understanding of complex B2B sales cycles
14. Knowledge of a Specialist product area (SD-WAN/LAN, DIA, Cloud & Compute, also useful)
15. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to persuade, negotiate & influence, both with customers and internal stakeholders
16. Ability to hold engaging C-level, business-led conversations
