We’re looking for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our Head Office team and help deliver a high‑quality, people‑focused HR service across our organisation.
Responsibilities
* Providing expert advice and support on employee relations, performance and workplace matters
* Supporting team development and promoting a positive working environment
* Attending employee relations meetings, guiding managers on processes and ensuring accurate documentation
* Managing HR systems and maintaining accurate, confidential employee records in line with GDPR and CQC standards
* Overseeing shared HR inboxes, responding efficiently and escalating where required
* Coordinating new starters, inductions and training tracking
* Conducting employee surveys to drive engagement and improvement initiatives
* Producing management information, trackers and reports to support decision‑making
* Supporting HR projects, including benchmarking and organisational initiatives
* Ensuring compliance with ASCWDF requirements and funding processes
About you
* Self‑motivated and able to manage a varied workload
* Flexible, proactive and solutions‑focused
* Empathetic, approachable and sensitive to the needs of others
* A strong team player who can also work independently using initiative
* Experienced in HR, ideally at Advisor level
* Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel)
* An excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills
* Organised, detail‑oriented and committed to maintaining confidentiality
* A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable
Person Specification
* Self‑motivated, empathetic and capable of handling a busy workload
* Experience in HR at the advisor level
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
* A strong communicator who can work both independently and as part of a team
* Full driving licence and vehicle access are desirable but not essential
