Join Our Team as a Support Worker - Supported Living
Location:
Leatherhead, Surrey
Salary:
£12.60 per hour (£24,570 per annum) plus benefits, including an additional £50 per sleep-in shift.
Hours:
37.5 hours per week, shifts vary between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm, Monday to Sunday (on a shift rota basis).
Contract:
Full-time, Permanent.
Driving Requirement:
A valid full UK manual driving license is essential.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. We are unable to offer skilled worker visas.

About You
Are you someone who enjoys making a difference in others' lives? Do you have a calm, caring, and resilient nature? If so, we want to hear from you! We seek individuals who are active, enjoy walking, can stay calm under pressure, are enthusiastic, proactive, and comfortable driving. A manual UK driving license is required.
What will you be doing?
As a Support Worker, you will support individuals in their journey towards independence. Your duties include:
* Daily Care & Support: Assisting with personal care, meal prep, medication, and daily tasks.
* Building Relationships: Getting to know the individuals, understanding their needs, and supporting their preferences.
* Empowering Independence: Helping achieve personal goals and encouraging exploration.
* Social Engagement: Supporting participation in activities like outings, hobbies, and community events.
* Respect & Dignity: Ensuring respectful and dignified treatment for individuals and their families.
Who will you be supporting?
At Leatherhead Support Service, we provide supported living for adults with complex health needs and disabilities, including autism, sight loss, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, anxiety, and physical disabilities. Our active clients enjoy outings, music, arts and crafts, sports, gardening, and walks.
