Salary Range: £27,780 - £30,564 per annum plus 14% rotating shift allowance for weekly pattern
Work Location: Elizabeth II Court, Winchester
Hours per week: 37 (Operating Hours 7am – 3pm / 1pm – 9pm Mon-Fri)
Contract Type: Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Officer to join our Facilities Team at Hampshire County Council.

The Role:

You’ll be supported by a friendly and skilled team, with opportunities to grow and develop across a diverse range of areas.


What you’ll do:

You'll be a member of an established and hardworking team. You'll be based in Winchester but have a requirement to support all buildings within the designated area of your responsibility.

Your role will involve overseeing the day-to-day management of the team to maintain a clean and safe working environment. You will ensure compliance with current procedures and policies, and that systems and processes are consistently followed. By making the best use of available resources, you’ll ensure the effective delivery of key services at all sites.


What we’re looking for:

Confident and dependable, you'll have experience in a similar role. You'll be able to work efficiently as part of a team, supervise others, and demonstrate a real commitment to customer service. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to deal with a range of situations in a positive and professional manner with a range of key stakeholders.

Please note, you'll be required to drive a Council vehicle and must hold a current full drivers' licence. This role attracts a 14% rotating shift allowance plus opportunity for overtime and a potential Duty Manager allowance (subject to agreement)
