Our client close to Heathrow Airport is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fine Art Shipping Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fine art, possess strong logistics and shipping experience, and be able to ensure the safe and secure transportation of valuable artwork. The role involves coordinating all aspects of shipping, including packaging, transportation, customs documentation, and tracking of high-value pieces, while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:Logistics Coordination:Work with logistics teams, couriers, and freight forwarders to arrange transportation for artworks. Oversee the entire shipping process to ensure timely and safe delivery.Documentation and Compliance:Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including invoices, customs declarations, export/import permits, and insurance paperwork. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international shipping regulations for fine art.Communication:Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, artists, galleries, and auction houses.
