Protocol Education is working with secondary schools across Middlesbrough to recruit a Maths Teacher to deliver high-quality teaching and classroom cover across KS3 and KS4. This role is suitable for QTS-qualified teachers, ECTs, and experienced cover supervisors or teaching assistants with strong Maths knowledge.
The Role:
1. Deliver engaging and structured Maths lessons.
2. Provide effective classroom cover when required.
3. Differentiate learning to support students of varying abilities.
4. Maintain strong behaviour management and a positive learning environment.
5. Support students’ progress and confidence in Maths.
The Ideal Candidate:
6. Holds QTS or has relevant classroom experience in Maths (teachers, cover supervisors, or TA cover).
7. Confident teaching Maths across KS3–KS4.
8. Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.
9. Reliable, adaptable, and proactive.
10. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
