The Opportunity
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving a site-wide learning and continuous improvement culture, ensuring that all incidents, observations, and lessons learned are effectively captured, analysed, and translated into meaningful improvements.
You will play a key role in maintaining compliance with strict regulatory requirements, while leading the Corrective Action Programme (CAP) across a large, complex project environment.
What You'll Be Doing
* Lead and develop the Learning & Continuous Improvement function on site.
* Drive the Corrective Action Programme (CAP) ensuring issues are properly resolved.
* Ensure compliance with incident reporting and regulatory standards (LC7).
* Oversee investigation processes and ensure root causes are identified and addressed.
* Analyse trends and identify risks across safety, quality, and performance.
* Lead and manage a team (approx. 6 direct reports).
* Engage with senior stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
* Promote a strong reporting and learning culture across the organisation.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* Nuclear / Defence / Heavy Engineering / Major Projects
Experience in:
* Incident reporting & investigation
* Corrective Action Programmes (CAP)
* Safety / HSE / Quality environments
* Proven team management experience
* Experience working in a highly regulated, site-based environment.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
Desirable:
* NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)
* Experience within nuclear or similar high-hazard industries
* Background in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
