Position: Behaviour Support Worker
Salary: £ - £ per hour

Are you interested in working with pupils with challenging behaviour?
GSL Education is currently working closely with various schools in Southampton to support their staffing needs. The focus is on rapidly improving these schools and developing their students and learning. The role involves supporting students in the provision with the aim for them to return to mainstream education. The ideal candidate should be resilient, committed, and have a positive attitude to improve pupils' lives. Responsibilities include supporting teachers and pupils, helping to keep students engaged in learning.
To be successful in this role, the candidate should:
* Be comfortable working in environments with challenging behaviour
* Have a passion for working with students with additional needs
* Experience in SEMH / PRU settings
* Background in Youth Work, Police, Army, Sports coaching, Mentoring
* Graduates in Sport, Psychology, Drama, Counselling, or Therapy

Requirements for working with GSL Education as a SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Right to work in the UK
* Up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years
* DBS registered with the update service or willingness to apply for one via GSL Education
