Our client, a renowned name in high-performance automotive manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Packaging Engineer / Packaging Analyst to support their innovative supply chain and logistics operations in Gaydon. This is a temporary, ongoing opportunity for a minimum of one year offering a 39-hour week, hours from Monday to Friday. What you'll be doing: * Developing and refining packaging processes, including returnable containers, pallets, and delivery frames * Analysing packaging utilisation, damage rates, and repair trends to identify improvements * Building cost models and business cases for new packaging solutions and continuous improvements * Supporting new packaging launches, engineering changes, and project milestones * Managing packaging data, supplier performance, and waste metrics * Producing KPI dashboards and reports on costs, availability, and supplier performance * Collaborating with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure compliance and performance * Supporting sustainability initiatives, waste reduction, and environmental compliance * Assisting with health & safety assessments and packaging design approvals * Developing analytical tools and simulation models for planning and forecasting * Supporting new model programmes and engineering changes What you'll bring: * Experience in packaging engineeri...
