Tester - Once a fortnight in Leeds - 6 months - Circa £300 per day inside ir35 Must be eligible for SC clearance. My client is a global leading IT consultancy. They are on the hunt for a Tester to support the delivery of high-quality digital services by designing and executing tests that validate functionality, reliability and performance. Core Skills (Essential) Test design and execution across functional, exploratory and automated testing. Ability to analyse requirements and artefacts to determine appropriate test coverage and quality risks. Defect management including reporting, investigation, prioritisation and retesting. Test automation fundamentals and experience contributing to automated test suites. Understanding of engineering practices such as version control, CI/CD pipelines and integrated testing approaches. Strong communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Desirable Skills Experience working in healthcare, public sector or regulated environments. Exposure to risk-based testing approaches in large digital services. Experience contributing to quality improvements across agile delivery teams. Technology Automated testing frameworks: Playwright and Jest for front-end and integration testing, with pytest supporting Python-based automated test suites. API and contract testing: Pact for consumer-driven contract testing and Bruno for API test development and validation. Platform and delivery environment: Cloud-native services on AWS, with infrastructure managed using Terraform and containerisation through Docker. Development ecosystem: Services primarily built across Python, Java, and .NET/C#, with APIs managed via Apigee. This temporary contract is inside IR35 and will require working under the direction of the client delivery manager as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will follow established delivery processes and working practices This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and be eligible for UK Security Vetting at SC/DV level.
