We are currently recruiting for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a highly respected public sector organisation on a 6-month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional to play a key role in supporting strategic procurement activity within a large, complex public sector environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage end-to-end procurement processes in line with public sector regulations Develop and implement procurement strategies to support organisational objectives Manage high-value and complex tenders and contracts Provide expert procurement advice to internal stakeholders Ensure compliance with public sector procurement policy and governance frameworks Support contract management and supplier performance management Essential Criteria: Proven experience in a procurement role, with previous management experience Experience managing complex procurement exercises and tender processes Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Desirable: CIPS qualification, ideally working towards MCIPS Strong knowledge of public sector procurement regulations and frameworks Knowledge of EU/UK public procurement legislation and procedures What's on Offer: 6-month temporary contract Competitive daily rate Hybrid/flexible working options (subject to operational requirements) Opportunity to work within a high-profile public sector organisation This role would suit an experienced procurement professional looking for a short-term opportunity to make an immediate impact in a public sector environment.
