Exciting Opportunity: Prison Cleared Registered General Nurse – Lowdham, UK. Setting: Prison General Nursing. Pay Rate: £26.00 – £37.00 hourly. Hours: Full Time or Part Time. Shifts: 07:30 – 18:00. Responsibilities
* Deliver holistic patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries.
* Manage long-term conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and hypertension, providing consistent, patient-centred care.
* Administer medications safely, including controlled drugs, in line with policy and clinical governance.
* Run health clinics covering wound management, immunisations, and routine health checks.
* Ensure the safety of all by adhering to strict security and risk assessment protocols.
* Collaborate closely with GPs, mental health professionals, and custodial staff to deliver integrated care.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to health education and promotion campaigns.
* Mentor junior staff and support quality improvement through audits and feedback.
* Valid NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
* Current prison clearance (security vetting).
* Experience in primary care, emergency care, or community nursing environments.
