Job Description:
The Role
We are seeking a Faculty Executive Support Coordinator to provide excellent Personal Assistant (PA) and administrative support to the Deputy Dean in the Faculty of Engineering, Computing, and the Environment. Previous experience of diary management is essential, along with a good working knowledge of administrative procedures. Knowledge and experience of Higher Education or public sector administration is desirable.
Your responsibilities include managing electronic diaries, arranging and prioritising appointments, meetings, and visits. You will support a busy senior staff member, requiring quick thinking and flexibility to adapt your workload as needed.
You will contribute to the smooth running of the faculty by providing exceptional administrative and secretarial support to the faculty leadership team and Heads of School, including covering for absent team members.
The Person
We seek a professional, friendly, self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach. The ability to build good working relationships across the faculty and university is essential. You will work closely with the Faculty Operations Support Manager and other Executive Support Coordinators.
This is an office-based role, not hybrid, requiring full-time presence across two campuses: Penrhyn Road and Roehampton Vale.

It offers a broad range of disciplines, including construction, aerospace, mechanical engineering, geography, and environment, with innovative, professionally accredited courses designed to prepare students for the professional world.
