Description
Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts
Contact customers via phone, email, and written communication to follow up on overdue invoices
Allocate and reconcile incoming payments accurately against customer accounts
Resolve customer queries and disputes regarding invoices and payments in a timely manner
Prepare and send regular debtor reports and aged debt analysis to management
Process supplier invoices and ensure timely and accurate payment runs
Carry out ad hoc finance and administrative tasks as required by the finance teamProfile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Experience using accounting software and spreadsheets.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
