A friendly and welcoming primary school in Platt Bridge is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team with an immediate start.
This role is ideal for a qualified teacher with a strong background in EYFS or nursery settings, who is confident delivering engaging, play-based learning in a fast-paced environment. There is potential for this role to continue on a long-term basis for the right candidate.
The Role:
* Planning and delivering engaging, play-based lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
* Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
* Supporting children’s early development, including communication, social, and emotional skills.
* Assessing and tracking pupil progress in line with EYFS expectations.
* Working collaboratively with support staff and the wider EYFS team.
* Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Essential: Previous experience teaching within an EYFS or nursery setting.
* A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach.
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* A secure understanding of early years development and the EYFS framework.
